Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet the DA Litter — Dashwood, Dainty & Dancer
These three adorable kittens had a rough start in life. They were born to a feral mom in the woods, but when she grew tired of caring for them alone, she brought her babies to the kind guardians who had been feeding her. Since the kittens were already eating on their own, it was time for them to begin their next chapter — learning how to be loved and cared for by people.
In the nurturing hands of one of Small Lives Matter Kitten Rescue’s wonderful foster families, they blossomed quickly. What started as shy little woodland kittens turned into affectionate, confident, and purring bundles of joy. Their mom was safely trapped and spayed — she prefers her outdoor life and now enjoys the care of a dedicated cat guardian who feeds her every day.
All three kittens are endlessly sweet and social. They greet their foster at the door and form a happy puddle of purring whenever they’re around people.
Dashwood
The only boy of the bunch, Dashwood is a handsome shorthaired orange tabby. He’s playful, curious, and full of energy — especially when wrestling with his sister Dainty. After a good round of play, he loves to curl up on the couch and nap beside you.
Dainty
This tiny tortoiseshell girl might be small, but she has a big heart. Dainty loves companionship and will meow if she finds herself alone. She melts into your arms when held and often falls asleep while being cuddled. Of course, she’s also a spirited little sister who loves to chase and tumble with Dashwood.
Dancer
Sleek and shiny, Dancer is an elegant black shorthaired beauty. She’s affectionate and snuggly, with a touch of independence. She likes to make the first move when meeting new friends — and if they rush her, they might get a gentle hiss or bop on the head! But once she warms up, she’s full of love and playful charm.
Together, these three are the perfect mix of sweetness, energy, and love — ready to bring endless purrs and joy to their forever homes.
We have dozens of cats and kittens available! All our adoptable cats are located at the Frisky Cat Cafe in St Augustine. 1092 Ponce De Leon Blvd (US 1). Visiting the cafe is a great way to find your perfect kitty. All of our cats and kittens are socialized and happy to interact with visitors, so you will meet them with their true personalities.

We are a foster based rescue. Our kitties are raised in loving foster homes, so they are socialized, love people and have good potty habits. Some are already adjusted to busy households with dogs, other adult cats and children. Please send us an inquiry and we will schedule a meet and greet.

More about this rescue
Small Lives Matter Kitten Rescue
We are a foster based rescue providing home care havens for kittens in need.
We are a 501(c)3 charitable organization supported by a network of volunteer fosters. We provide urgent care to neonate and sick kittens in need of life saving support.
We provide a haven to kittens until they are thriving and ready for spay and neuter surgery and then adoption.
Kittens under eight weeks old are one of the most at-risk populations in the United States, being killed or allowed to die by the hundreds of thousands every year. Our vision is that all neonatal, sick and other at-risk kittens are given a chance to grow and thrive through life-saving fosters and then adoption. Join us in the fight to stop euthanasia of orphaned kittens and share our dream that one day animals will no longer be killed in America's shelters. We believe every life is important, no matter how small.
We need everyone's help with our mission. There are many ways you can help. Please donate, volunteer to foster or adopt today!!
