As a young pup and full of potential, Dempsey is already showing signs of being the ultimate “velcro dog.” He loves other dogs and kids, but he loves people even more. If you’re sitting down, he believes your lap is exactly where he belongs.

Dempsey was rescued alongside his siblings as a newborn and has grown into a gentle, affectionate little guy. He’s quiet by nature, happiest when he’s close to his people, and doesn’t feel the need to be the loudest voice in the room — just the closest.

He has mastered the art of puppy eyes and uses them strategically to get extra cuddles, snacks, or maybe an invite onto the couch. He’s very food motivated and already gives the impression that he’ll be easy to train. He sleeps through the night, enjoys a good snuggle, and would prefer every nap to be taken on a warm lap rather than a dog bed.

Dempsey might be small now, but his heart, loyalty, and love for humans are already larger than life. If you’re looking for a devoted companion who wants nothing more than to be by your side (or on your lap), Dempsey is your boy.

Dempsey is estimated to be 9 weeks old and 8 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested.
