Meet Delsie - the blue-eyed heartbreaker

Anyone who walks past her foster family’s yard pauses to admire her icy blue eyes and immediately asks, “What breed is she?” The honest answer is, nobody knows. Her foster mom simply calls her breed “happy.”

Delsie and her eight siblings were found as newborns, left near the rescue’s safe house in Kentucky. They were bottle-fed and loved back to health, and today Delsie is thriving.

She’s an easygoing girl with a gentle spirit and a playful streak. She loves kids, other dogs, and any neighbor willing to say hi. Her least favorite thing? Being told it’s time to go inside. She has perfected a pouty face to protest, although it almost never works.

Delsie spends her days playing and exploring when she can, and napping or cuddling when she can’t. She currently sleeps through the night snuggled up with two of her siblings and enjoys three square meals a day (though she would prefer four).

If you’re looking for a puppy who is sweet, social, and full of “happy,” Delsie is your girl.
Delsie is estimated to be 9 weeks old and 8 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested.
