Danica may be a young little pup, but she’s already lived a story of grit and heart. She arrived in Minnesota fighting a serious case of pneumonia at only 5 weeks old. After a few nights in the hospital and a whole lot of determination, she was cleared for a life of health and adventure — and she has taken that mission to heart.
Danica loves other dogs, every human she meets, and especially kids. She’s the most adventurous of her siblings and always the first to jump into playtime. She wrestles, hoards toys, and thinks every lap is fair game for jumping into. Shoes and socks? Those are just bonus toys in her mind.
She may be feisty, but she’s also incredibly loving. After exploring and causing just the right amount of chaos, she always comes back to her people for cuddles and will happily drift off to sleep in your arms or in an extra cozy dog bed. She appreciates comfort, adventure, and having at least one toy (or personal treasure) nearby at all times.
Everyone who meets Danica falls in love with her silly, brave, and affectionate personality. She’s a survivor with a spark — and she’s ready to bring joy wherever she goes.
Danica is estimated to be 13 weeks old and 12 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested.
