Meet Poe — a brave little soul with the heart of a poet and the spirit of a fighter. This young black kitten has had a rough start in life, coming to us with eye and skin injuries. But despite it all, he’s gentle, resilient, and slowly healing with the help of lots of love and care.
Once he’s strong enough, Poe will have surgery to remove both eyes, and while that may sound daunting, he’s expected to live a long, healthy, and happy life afterward. Cats adapt incredibly well to being blind, and we just know Poe will navigate his world with confidence — and melt hearts with his adorably unique face.
Right now, he’s looking for a quiet, loving home (or foster!) where he can finish his recovery and discover how wonderful life can be.

We meet with the potential parent for an interview. We then do a very extensive home check to make sure the pet is a good fit. Then, if everything checks out, we do the documentation, pay the fees, and give a permanent home to a rescue animal!
