***MUST SUBMIT APPLICATION before we will respond to email or phone inquiries. Thank You for your cooperation***
Please read listings fully to the end before applying for one of our beloved rescues.

WE ARE NOT A SHELTER; WE ARE AN ALL-VOLUNTEER RESCUE WITH FULL-TIME JOBS.
Please do not contact us to look at a dog. We will contact you once we have reviewed your completed application if we think your home might be a good fit. A reference check, phone interview, and home visit will be completed before meeting an adoptable dog.

We work quickly. Please do not submit an application until you are ready to bring a new furry family member home. Expect your references to be contacted shortly after submitting your application. We adopt out to homes around WA & OR, but require that you are present for the meet and greet in Newcastle, WA.

Our adoption fee is non-negotiable. The adoption fee is due on the day of adoption in the form of a check, Zelle, or cash. We no longer accept PayPal due to their fees they charge the rescue but if the potential adopter wants to pay the fees we will accept PayPal.

Will the ruthlessness ever end for these poor dogs? Will Ferrell was in an extremely high kill shelter together with Bobby but they did not know each other & Will Ferrell had been dumped twice. Why this was we will never know because he is such a sweet soul, but we out quickly we believe the reason why. Will Ferrell was listed as neutered & had a big mass on his groin & was one big ball of matted filthy fur.
We reached out to the shelter & they were beyond grateful that we were rescuing both boys.
We could not let them lose their lives & we were the only ones who showed interest in saving them.

Will Ferrell came back to WA state from CA where he can’t wait to find a home to love him.

The moment we got Will Ferrell out we knew he was the sweetest soul ever. He was just easy & his tail wagging with happiness.
Will Ferrell just wants to be loved. The level of absolute madness here is so deeply sad for many of these beautiful souls out of CA kill shelters.
We got him to our vets to take care of his medical & low & behold & thanks to our wonderful vets he worked out he was not neutered at all & the mass in his groin was one of his testicles that was enlarged & he was cryptorchid. So he had been adopted twice at the shelter listed as neutered.

In his foster home he eats clean meaning raw fruits & vegetables, grains, raw meat & other proteins along with supplements. He also adores a good treat which are homemade. He is also obsessed with collagen sticks & bully sticks.
When it’s time to eat he gets very excited with enthusiasm & will start jumping around with joy at his foster mum. He has definitely put on weight in his loving foster home.

He enjoys sleeping on the bed with you & will just sleep through the night.
His foster mum still cannot believe someone would abandon him as he is so lovely & can be carried around & enjoys being patted & receiving love & will fall asleep while doing it.
He also enjoys a good outfit.

Will Ferrell’s new forever home must have a fully fenced secured backyard. He enjoys going out into the backyard in his foster home & having a wander around.
Will Ferrell has been great with his baths because he started having them with us in his loving foster homes the moment he was rescued so he is used to them. He loves being dried by the hairdryer.

Will Ferrell rides beautifully in the car & enjoys a good journey & will sit in his car seat next to you with his dog friends. He also enjoys looking out the window.
Will Ferrell walks well on his harness & leash. We are looking for a forever home for Will Ferrell where someone is home during the day or he can go with his people wherever possibly he can go with them. Having a family family working from home would be good for him. We are also looking for a crate free home for the little lad only.
He was left in a cage at the shelter until we rescued him.
Will Ferrell is looking for a forever home who will cherish him & love him as he should be loved & be patient with him.

Will Ferrell has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes & he is currently with other dogs & fostered with other dogs in his foster home & does well with them & enjoys their company.

Will Ferrell is roughly 6 years old & 14 lbs, he is male, & possibly a poodle mix. He is neutered, had a blood panel done. Microchipped, just had a full dental scale & polish & had 16 teeth removed. He is up to date on his shots, including DHPP, Bordatella, rabies & dewormed. We also had a biopsy done on his large testicle & it came back negative for anything which is wonderful.
Once these shots expire we do not redo them only rabies as we do not over vaccinate our beloved dogs.

Will Ferrell has not been around cats since being in the rescue but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together. We have not had him around small children in the rescue so we do not recommend children nor cats & it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children.

We were not there when Will Ferrell was conceived so we do not know who his parents were & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think his breed is.

As with all of our rescues & Will Ferrell’s friends he will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Will Ferrell potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond.
We have spent $835 on just transport alone to bring Will Ferrell to WA state. That does not cover his costs for his medical & his adoption does not even cover his costs.

We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying.
Will Ferrell has been through many traumas in his short time on this earth so when applying this needs to be kept in mind & for his care.

Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Will Ferrell & going through our process and have read his listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a virtual home visit via zoom & followed by a meet and greet & if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Will Ferrell who understands his needs & that meet all the requirements for this sweet boy.
Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately.

Will Ferrell has an adoption fee of $850 & is ready for his truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what he has been through.
