My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Cora 💛
Cora is an 8-year-old terrier-lab mix with a huge heart and some big feelings. She does struggle with anxiety, especially when left home alone or on walks around the neighborhood. When she’s stressed, she may chew things or pace and pull on leash during walks, so we usually crate her or leave her in the backyard when we’re away. She’s not destructive out of defiance — she just needs reassurance and a calm routine to feel safe.

Beyond her anxieties, Cora is a sweet, loyal dog who loves hiking, playing fetch, and relaxing at home. She’s great with other dogs and cats, and gentle and playful children of all ages. She has a loud protective bark that only comes out when someone is at our door but she hasn’t been aggressive.

Cora has been with us since she was a few months old — a rescue with so much love to give. She’s looking for a patient home, ideally with someone who’s around often and can offer her the security she needs to let her affectionate, devoted nature shine.
