Meet Marion Macaroni!
This 5-year-old, 11-pound dachshund-chihuahua mix is as sweet and comforting as her name suggests! Marion is a gentle, affectionate little lady who loves everyone she meets — kids, cats, and other dogs included.
She came to us as an owner surrender from a home with too many dogs, but you’d never know it from her loving personality. Marion has blossomed in her foster home, where she even showed off her nurturing side by helping care for a litter of kittens like they were her own — proving she has the biggest heart around.
Marion is doing wonderfully with her house training and leash manners, and she’s already mastered using the doggy door. Her foster parents say her favorite thing in the world is curling up in bed and snuggling under the covers — she’s a professional cuddle buddy!
If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who will bring warmth, love, and a touch of cozy comfort to your home, Marion Macaroni is your girl.
Interested in becoming a forever home for Marion? Fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we don't go any further without an application.

We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting.
We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and appreciate you working with us.For immediate consideration, please attach your application to the initial inquiry to help us expedite the process.
Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses.
All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public in Oklahoma. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.
Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!
