Meet Fig ✨
Around 3 years old and still patiently waiting for her forever home.
Fig has been with us since November, and before that she spent nearly a year in the shelter. For reasons we still don’t understand, she keeps getting overlooked — and yes, being a black dog may play a part. But once you take the time to meet her, it’s impossible not to fall in love.
Since being in foster, Fig has gained so much confidence. She is incredibly sweet, loves people, and her go-to move at events is rolling right onto her back for belly rubs 🖤 She does well with other dogs with proper introductions, absolutely loves puppies, and with guidance and patience has even started to warm up to cats. We truly believe she could coexist with a kitty in the right home.
Fig isn’t a dog who comes out of her shell immediately, but she doesn’t need “fixing.” She just needs time, consistency, and someone willing to let her feel safe. Once she does, she’s all love.
Fig has waited long enough.
