A Diamond in the Ruff Awaiting His Forever Home
Are you looking for a loyal, handsome, and animal-friendly companion? Then look no further! Meet Chase, a stunning Catahoula Leopard Dog mix who is patiently waiting for his forever family.

Chase's Stats:
Breed: Catahoula Leopard Dog Mix

Age: 3–5 years old (Prime of his life!)

Energy Level: Medium—he loves a good walk or playtime but is also happy to settle down for a cozy nap.

Good With: Other Animals! Chase is a social butterfly and gets along famously with other dogs, and likely cats, making him the perfect addition to a multi-pet household.

What Makes Chase Special?
Chase is a gentle soul with a heart of gold. His striking, unique coat and intelligent eyes are sure to turn heads, but it's his sweet, adaptable nature that will truly steal your heart. At 3 to 5 years old, he's past the crazy puppy stage but still has plenty of love, enthusiasm, and adventure left in him.

Whether you're looking for a buddy for your current dog, a walking partner, or a friend to simply relax with, Chase is ready to fill that role—and your life—with joy.

Could YOU Be Chase's Happy Ending?
Don't let this wonderful dog slip away! If you're ready to open your home and heart to a loving, four-legged friend who plays well with others, Chase is waiting for you.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Cat adoption fee is $150, and $175 for dogs. We attempt to match the animal's characteristics with the family and their lifestyle. We require an application form, which becomes part of the adoption contract, a personal or phone interview, veterinarian reference if applicable, home visit, and an additional agreement about how the animal will be treated. Cats must be indoors only, not declawed. Dogs must be fenced or leashed when outdoors and treated as part of the family--indoors as much as possible, and always at night. Adopter agrees to provide regular veterinary care, and to return the animal to us if they ever give it up. We reserve the right to check on the animal's welfare from time to time, with appropriate notice.

As a volunteer group, we do not have a facility. Our animals reside in foster homes. We show them at local events and by appointment.

More about this rescue

We are an all-volunteer, 501(c)3 nonprofit rescue group, with emphasis on mixed-breed dogs and cats. We adopt primarily from our local animal shelter, although we occasionally take in hardship cases. We also assist individuals in our area by advertising on our website animals they need to rehome, if the animals have been spayed/neutered. We donate pet food to a local food bank as well as to the county senior center's pet food distribution. We fund free spay/neuter and vaccinations through a local veterinary service for low-income families. We gratefully accept donations, and we need volunteers for many events. More than anything, we need foster homes.
