My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ember is a sweet little girl who had a rough life. Found on a country road, she had patches of fur missing and was a bit timid. She is learning to use a doggy door to do her business and is really eager for your attention. This precious pup still needs a home! Embers Christmas wish is to have a family that will cuddle on the sofa, provide lots of squeaky chew toys, and play fetch. An active sibling pup to play with would be an amazing bonus. This puppy loves to play hard & then snuggle up next to you for a nap. Ember is a 9 month old female Weimaraner/short stack pittie mix who is actually smaller than you might think! She walks well on a leash, pottys outside, and is crate trained. Please share with anyone looking for an amazing dog, or is a sucker for a cute face.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process is three-fold: submit an application, meet the pet, then arrange for us to do your in-home interview.
Adoption Fees:
Kittens: $60, Cats (1 year plus): $50, Puppies: $250, Adult Canines (1 to 6 years): $200, Seniors (7 years plus): $100 (unless otherwise specified). Adoption fees are not a tax-deductible donation as allowed by IRS regulations. Adoption fees help to offset the cost of the pet's care incurred by Coastal Pet Rescue, which are generally 2 to 3 times the adoption fee amount.
Some special circumstances may change the fee; see pet's listing for actual adoption fee.

All Coastal Pet Rescue pets are current on shots, microchipped* and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Adopters are responsible for any shots that may be due after adoption (particularly for kittens and puppies that must have three rounds of shots to be protected).

Microchip:
CPR has implanted a microchip as part of the adoption process and the chip is included in the adoption fee. However, some chip companies require a registration fee varying from $9.99 to $19.99. The registration fees are the responsibility of the adopter and are NOT included in the CPR adoption fee. Adopters may add this cost to their adoption fee to have CPR register the chip on their behalf.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

Most of our pets all live in our homes, so adoption applications must be submitted for appointments to be made to see the pets. We also have them with us at our outdoor events, so view our "events" calendar on our website for those dates and locations.
