Say hello to Newt!

Newt has been at FDHS for a couple of months now, and in that time he has completely won over everyone he meets. Seriously, who doesn’t love a big, handsome tabby with chubby cheeks? He’s one of the largest kitties in his room, and he uses every bit of that presence to soak up as much attention as possible.

Newt is a total social butterfly. He gets along great with the other cats and is always the first to say hello when someone walks in. Whether he’s weaving around your legs, nudging your hand for more pets, or plopping down beside you for a snuggle, Newt is all about love and good vibes.

If you’re looking for an affectionate, friendly, attention-loving kitty, Newt is your man.

Once an application is filled out for animal of interest, the adoption coordinator and director will review app.
*Vet reference- will call vet and verify you are a client
*Current pets- must be up to date on vaccinations
*If renting- will contact landlord to verify can have pets
Can take 1-3 days for approval or denial. Please be patient with us.
Animals are not first come, first serve. We work to find the best homes possible for not only the adopters, but our animals.
