Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Sashi, the chatty queen who’s ready to rule her kingdom—on her own terms! This gorgeous girl has a lot to say and isn’t afraid to let you know when she wants attention, snacks, or just a good conversation. While Sashi may need a little time to warm up to new people, once she feels comfortable, she’s as loving as can be. She enjoys affection but likes to set the pace, making her the perfect companion for someone who appreciates a cat with a big personality. Sashi is looking for a home where she can be the star of the show—no other pets, just her adoring audience! If you're ready for a feline friend who will keep you entertained with her chatter and charm, Sashi is ready to meet you!

The Michigan Animal Rescue League (MARL) is one of southeast Michigan’s most established animal shelters, serving the community since 1953. Our history and experience combined with constant evaluation of trends in animal welfare and sheltering have made us a necessary and respected asset within our community. As, “A Different Breed of Shelter” we challenge the stereotypes of traditional animal shelters and believe that the, “Quality of the Wait,” can make all the difference in the future of an animal.
Our Mission
The Mission of the Michigan Animal Rescue League is to provide the highest quality of life to dogs and cats through rescue, medical care, socialization and behavioral support, short- and long-term sanctuary, adoption, and community education and outreach.
