My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Uyuni. My four sisters and I were born under a tarp that was covering patio furniture in someone’s yard. We were discovered when we were about three days old, and the homeowner took care of us and our Mama.  Mama was feral, and after we were weaned, she was spayed and released. Our rescuer tried but couldn’t find homes for us, so she brought us to SBACC when we were about eight weeks old.  We had grown up with lots of attention and were already playful and friendly lap kitties. We went to a foster home for a while and are now ready for our forever homes.  There were two Boston terriers and a cat in our foster home.  We got along fine with the dogs, but the cats didn’t want anything to do with us.  I have tons of energy and never get tired of playing, chasing, and wrestling with Uki and my other sisters. Despite being playful and independent, I love being petted and having human attention.  Once I’m worn out from playing, I will lie down next to you and enjoy some petting while I make biscuits, purr, and fall asleep.  I’m hoping to go home with one of my sisters or another kitten or young cat.
