My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Rasha !!
This beautiful girl is so much fun. The sweetest dog with a great mix of playful energy and cuddles.
Rasha is a 2-year-old, female, mix breed. The vet put Plott hound on her paperwork but we suspect some type of bully breed mix is more accurate. She weighs 48 pounds and is full grown.
She is already vaccinated, microchipped and spayed. She is thankfully Heartworm negative.
This playful girl is so sweet and just wants all the love and attention from her people and doggy friends. She will greet you and just melt into you wanting your affection and hugs. She wholeheartedly believes she is a lap dog and will literally try to get on top of you and as close to you as possible on the couch. No one told her she’s a big dog lol.
Rasha is doing really good with all of her training. She is crate training and will sleep in there overnight or during a full work day. She can be a little whiny if she knows your home and wants out. She rides great in the car although she makes you help her get in. She is good with leash walking and gentle about it for her size. She has been very good with her potty training overall. When she’s been crated awhile (like overnight or when you get home from work) she may have an accident in the crate if not let out right away.
She has been fantastic with all other similar size dogs she’s met and not at all mean to little dogs. She can just be a lot for a smaller dog if they aren’t in to playing. She enjoys having another energetic dog to play with. She has not shown any aggression but with her size she can play a little rough. She has been good about taking cues from other dogs about backing off when it’s time to rest. We do not know how she would do with cats.
Rasha has not been fostered with kids and wasn’t around them in her previous home. We can’t say for sure that she wouldn’t accidentally knock over small kids when excited. We do not think she would hurt kids or anyone else intentionally but she is a bigger girl and thinks she’s small.
She loves toys, balls and anything to play with. She will carry a plushy around in her mouth and it’s really adorable. We have not seen any issues with her sharing toys, treats or food with humans or other animals.
Rasha has a medium to high energy level. If she gets her outlet to run and play during the day she is very cuddly and relaxed inside. She definitely needs her playtime each and every day. She’s a fun dog that would be great for outings and adventures.
She is a big hunk of love just waiting to be your best friend. If you’re looking for a playful sweetheart then she may be your girl!!
Vet and home checks required.
Located in Hampton VA.
(She will need to be adopted within a 2 hour drive radius)
