My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet little Princess is a 2-year-old Shih Tzu. She is also heartworm positive. She has already begun her treatment and received her final injection on 10/28. She will still have 30-60 days, post injection, before she is medically cleared for adoption.

We would like for Princess to be placed into a "foster to adopt" home. This means we will provide her treatment, while she is living with her future adopters. Then once she is medically cleared, the adoption can be finalized.

If you are interested in making this WONDERFUL dog a part of your family, please complete a foster application today ❤ We promise, SHE IS WORTH IT! Just meet her and you will absolutely LOVE her!

Go meet their pets

Many of our adoptable pets are placed in loving foster homes. You are welcome to stop by our shelter during business hours, but please be advised, that many of our available pets will not be in the building. By submitting an application first, you give our adoption coordinator a chance to inform you of the pets location, saving an unnecessary trip.
