Puppy Policies: We do not adopt puppies under 6 months of age into apartment homes or homes without a fenced yard. All children in the home must be at least 5 years of age. We appreciate your understanding of these policies.
Jade, medium Heinz 57 mix. She has quite a story! She was sort of owned by a neighbor of one of our rescue friends in South TX. When Jade got pregnant and the pups started getting bigger they reached out to our rescue to help save Jade and her three puppies.
After Jade arrived at RT4P she took her first trip to the vet office, in February where she jumped out of the vehicle and ran away. We searched for her for several months. We did not find her at the time but In the month of December, she appeared on a Nextdoor app posting. Someone had found her and taken her to Dallas animal services. Her fosters rushed to pick her up and bring her home. It was a miracle.
See…. We told you this girl had a story! Jade is now ready for her forever home. She’s a calm girl that would enjoy a slow pace home. She would be a great walking companion. She is kennel, trained, and housebroken.

All animals in your home must be current on vaccinations
All current/past dogs in your home must be current on heart worm preventative and have a history of providing the medication year round
