Meet the Tallassee Pups!

This adorable group of 10 puppies found their way to Big Dog Ranch after quite an amazing rescue story. An elderly couple in Tallassee, Alabama, took in four female dogs who had wandered onto their property. Before long, each of the four girls gave birth—four litters within a week of each other!

Overwhelmed but determined to do the right thing, the couple reached out to Big Dog Ranch for help. Our team stepped in to provide support, and together we ensured that all the pups were safely surrendered into our care. The kind couple agreed to keep the adult females, and we helped by providing spay surgeries so there would be no more surprise litters in the future.

Now, these seven sweet pups are healthy, happy, and ready for adoption! They’re each developing their own unique personalities and learning all about life—one playful wag at a time. With love, care, and a fresh start, they’re ready to find families who will continue their journey with open arms and full hearts.

If you are interested in adopting a dog from us please visit the ranch. Our website adoptions page has all of our availalbe dogs and our adoption application at www.bdrr.org/adopt. This will help us make sure we find you the right dog to fit your situation and family. You are welcomed to come to the ranch seven days a week or you can make an appointment with our adoption desk. Our adoption fees range depending on the dog's breed, age and other factors.
