Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, I`m Callaway! I am a sweet mix of playful energy and calm snuggles, and I am learning more every day about how good it feels to be loved. I can be shy at first and I take a little time to warm up, but once I feel safe I am very affectionate and talkative. I greet you with little meows, follow you around to see what you are doing, and ask for head scratches and rub downs the moment you walk back in the room. I am getting more comfortable with being held and I try very hard to be brave. I do not mind front paw touches but I still prefer that you skip my belly and back legs.
I love fuzzy toys, cardboard, blankets, window watching, and a good canned dinner. I can get the zoomies at night, but I also love curling up between or on top of you for a cozy nap. I am curious about other animals. With slow introductions, I might do okay, but I would likely do best in a home without small children and with someone who understands a shy cat who blooms with patience.
If you give me the time and love I need, I will repay you with purrs, gentle play, and the sweetest sleepy cuddles.
I also qualify for the Welcome Trial program, which means you can take me home for up to 14 days to make sure I’m the perfect fit before making things official.
With love, Callaway
