He is good with other dogs and cats, with limitations and considerations.
He should not be left alone with playful, active cats as it may turn into a chase and become unsafe. He is very affectionate, housebroken, not destructive. Mateo does want to sleep in bed with you!. He loves to run in the yard and will need a good sized yard or active family, so he wont be bored.
Mateo is food/treat and sometime attention aggressive.
It is important to allow him his own space to have his food and treats, without any other dog walking up to him. Sometimes, he gets a little possessive of his humans too and may pull up his lip when you cuddle with him and another dog tries to get in. Sometimes, he'll just leave, because he knows he gets in trouble for his behavior.
He would be perfectly happy being an only dog. But he is also perfectly fine around other dogs, especially older and chill dogs, as long as no food/treats are involved. He is not protective of toys and actually doesn't play with any, So he seeks an experienced home, that understands this issue and can manage it appropriately or a single dog home
