Mr. Cat is an excellent gentleman and a card-carrying member of the Big Kitty Club, weighing in at a healthy, lap-warming 14 pounds. We love his smooth, easygoing energy and the way he tilts his head slightly when he looks you right in the eye. Some cats feel a little nervous coming into our cat cottage, but Mr. Cat has been a smooth operator since day one.
Mr. Cat is a young adult -- born in the spring of 2024. We'd consider him medium-energy, and he seems to be pretty laidback in his approach to new people. He'll come down from his perch and say hello, but he is never demanding or pushy with people or the other kitties in his room.
He was briefly adopted along with another kitty. They were good friends, but Mr. Cat felt uncomfortable around the larger dog in the home, and he could never quite relax and be himself around the dog.
That said, if you're looking for a dog-like cat -- one who doesn't have an aloof bone in his body and who will greet you at the door when you come home -- he would be a fantastic fit. This guy is the bomb.
