My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Wilson!

If you’re looking for a playful, cuddly kitten, I’m your guy. I enjoy snuggling and purring on my foster parents’ laps. I also love napping on the cat tree by the window.

My favorite toys are a little stuffed octopus and wand toys. My foster family makes the wands fly so I can chase and jump at them. There’s a variety of scratching posts around here that I like using too. I enjoy hanging out with the resident cats and keeping an eye on what the humans are doing. I’m also good with kids and love spending time with them when they visit!

If I’m in another room when they get up to do something, I can’t help but announce myself when I find them and see if they’ll talk to me. They say my voice has a bit of an “old man” quality, not sure what that means, but they say it’s really cute!

If there’s a dog in my forever home, I would prefer that they be pretty neutral and don’t chase me. I’ll lie on the couch nearby them, no problem! I am definitely looking for a home with another young cat to be my friend and playmate.

Kittens need buddies! We require that kittens be adopted with a sibling or go to a home that already has another young companion animal. If you already have a young animal or another kitten in your home, great! If not, Wilson will need to be adopted with another Bitty Kitty!

The adoption fee for a kitten is $250. For a pair, the adoption fee is $500.

Note: Kittens must be 10+ weeks old before they can go home.

Additional adoption info

If you’re thinking about adding a kitten or two to your family, a Bitty Kitty is a great choice! Kittens who have been bottlefed tend to be extra friendly and snuggly!

By adopting a kitten from the Bitty Kitty Brigade, you’ll be supporting our no-kill organization and making room for us to take in another orphan kitten.

All of our cats receive high-quality veterinary care and exams. Prior to adoption, all of our kittens are:

FeLV/FIV tested
spayed/neutered
treated for external and internal parasites
microchipped
FVRCP (distemper) vaccinated

Please allow 24-48 hours for a reply to an adoption inquiry.

More about this rescue

The Bitty Kitty Brigade is a foster-based rescue for orphaned neonatal kittens in the Twin Cities, MN and surrounding areas.

Our mission is:
To provide care for orphaned neonatal kittens and to partner with animal rescue organizations and impound facilities to improve survival rates within the neonatal kitten population.

The Bitty Kitty Brigade provides care for kittens ages 0-6 weeks who are without mothers and not yet eating on their own. Once weaned, the kittens are either transferred to one of our partner no-kill organizations or transferred to another caregiver within our organization where they will be cared for until adoption age.
