If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Adopted Voss at 4 weeks old while stationed in California. He was born 28 July 2017. He moved with us to North Carolina, Kentucky, and now Louisiana. We have had a German husky, 3 cats, and a baby that he has been great around. He is obedient, loyal, a great companion, and crate trained.
Since living in Louisiana Voss has had allergies which has caused hematomas in his ears. This is why you see one ear has flopped down. He has been growing fatty tumors the last few years. I had them biopsied since they have gotten bigger but was told they dont need to be removed. We have loved him dearly and have made the difficult decision to put him up for adoption since we can no longer offer him the space and time he requires. We want to see him enjoy the rest of his life in a home that loves to play and offer him the attention that we cant give him at this time. Happy to answer any questions.
