Sweet as her name, Mama Honey is a gentle 3-4 year-old, 10-pound bundle of love who’s ready for her happily-ever-after. After spending most of her life outdoors, she’s quickly discovered the joys of soft beds, belly rubs, and being part of a family.
In the time she’s been with us, Mama Honey has proven herself to be one of the most tender, devoted mamas we’ve ever met. She’s incredibly docile, adores people, and has done wonderfully with children. She’s also been friendly with other dogs—though she’d appreciate a proper introduction, especially with bigger pups.
Mama Honey is fully potty trained and hasn’t had any accidents inside. She’s still learning what it means to play—to chase a toy, zoom around the yard, and just be a carefree dog—but every day she’s coming out of her shell a little more. With patience, kindness, and love, she’s going to thrive as a loyal, affectionate companion.
This little girl’s heart is pure gold. She’s looking for a forever home where she’ll be cherished, included in family life, and loved the way she’s always deserved. We only ask that her new family stay in touch—and if life ever changes, she’ll always have a safe place to come back to.
After raising her puppies with incredible love, Mama Honey is finally ready to be cared for the way she’s cared for others. She truly has the sweetest soul and is ready to fill her new home with warmth and affection. ❤️
She is spayed, up to date on shots, hw negative and microchipped. She also just had a dental.

More about this rescue
CAMO Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that offers life, health, and a forever home. We specialize in dogs that other rescues can’t or won’t take due to fearful nature or medical needs. We primarily rescue ‘euthanasia listed’ animals that are in immediate danger of death. We provide shots, spay/neuter, microchip, foster homes, food, medical treatment and love to dogs that are abandoned, unwanted or otherwise in need. We never euthanize an animal to make room for another. In addition to caring for our dogs and finding the best possible home for them, we provide education to the community; encouraging and promoting responsible pet ownership. If needed, our rescue dogs are retrained to socialize in an adoptive loving family. We have had phenomenal success, and amazing support from our community. We believe that animals, as living creatures are entitled to a quality life, respect and compassion. Since humans have domesticated animals, we have a moral and ethical responsibility to care for them. We are partnered with many Shelters to help them reach the same goal.
