My name is Ugali!

What my friends at OHS say about me:

• I came from a special rescue case and have a lot to learn. The amazing staff and volunteers have been teaching me how to wear a collar, getting used to a leash, and what it means to be a human's best friend.


• My foster parents (who have nicknamed me "Toe Bean") say I'm the best!


• I love the outdoors, watching my favorite TV show (Bluey), playing with my pittie foster brother, and trying to steal spices off of the spice rack!
  
• I've been really good with potty training, and have gained a lot of confidence in my foster home!
  
• It will be important to spend a few weeks with me in a secure back yard before trying to introduce me to new places, people or things. I am at my best when I get a lot of support and do better with people I have built a trusting relationship with.


• If I become afraid or startled, I might try to bolt or may pull a leash out of your hands.

The type of home I require:

• I must go to a home with a fully fenced yard. No apartments or busy neighborhoods.


• Everyone living in the household will need to meet prior to my adoption.


• I will need to meet any resident dogs first before going home with you.

My adoption process:

• OHS has created a more in-depth adoption questionnaire, which can be accessed via the "Meet Me" button at the top of the profile.


• Once it is reviewed, you will receive an email with a link to schedule a phone consultation.


• After your consult, if it feels like a good match, your adoption counselor will schedule an in-person meet and greet and you will meet me with our volunteer and staff handlers. If you fall in love, you will have the option to come in and spend time with me to build a relationship prior to adopting!
