My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lider is a bold little princess who loves to get attention. She was born in October 2023 and weighs 15 lbs. She gets along great with dogs of all sizes and  runs and plays with them. She especially enjoys the company of her daughters, snuggling up for a nap or chasing or nibbling on each other. Lider is an energetic girl jumping up to get your attention. But when she gets the opportunity to cuddle up she happily settles by your side. She is house-trained and rides great in the car. She is good on a leash and is happy to accompany you on long walks. Eager to be the princess in your castle, Líder will make a wonderful companion.

More about this rescue

Formed in 2008, Cinderella Pet Rescue was established to rescue animals from abuse, neglect and abandonment and to help prepare the for adoption. Additionally CPR promotes spay/neuter to reduce the serious homeless pet crisis in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas. An all volunteer organization, there are normally between 55 and 65 dogs at our no-kill shelter as well as a couple dozen cats. Even more pets are placed in foster homes in preparation for adoption. Not funded by anyone, Cinderella Pet Rescue counts on donations and fundraisers to support the needs of the animals in care, from food to veterinary treatment. More volunteers and foster homes are always needed.
