My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looking for a companion who is equal parts brainy, devoted, and a sheer joy to be around? Then look no further! This one-of-a-kind, true Super Mutt is the delightful culmination of the best traits from many breeds, offering a unique and endlessly lovable personality.

Key Traits

  • Intelligence & Trainability: Smart and quick to learn, she thrives on mental stimulation and loves a good challenge. She'll ace obedience training and might even try to outsmart you (in the most loving way, of course!).

  • Heart of Gold: This dog is fiercely loyal and forms deep, unbreakable bonds with their family. She will be your dedicated shadow, always ready with a comforting presence.

  • Attitude: Pure, unadulterated happy! Her joyful demeanor is contagious. Bad days simply don't stand a chance when this cheerful pup is around.

  • Energy & Play: Highly playful and bursting with zest for life. Whether it's fetch, tug-of-war, or a game of chase, she is always up for fun. Note: she is a bit too boisterous for toddlers/preschoolers.

Ideal Home & Lifestyle

Phoebe is a free spirit through and through! She craves movement, exploration, and the feel of wind in her fur.

Please Note: This dog is NOT an apartment dog. A busy urban setting or cramped living space would not allow her to thrive.

  • Needs Space to Roam: The perfect home must have a secure, spacious yard or access to large, open areas where she can run, sniff, and truly stretch her legs.

  • Active Family: She would do best with an active individual or family who enjoys hiking, trail running, long walks, or just spending quality time outdoors.

  • Special Consideration: She is working on some fear-based leash reactivity and will require a patient owner committed to continuing positive reinforcement training to help her feel more secure while walking.

  • Engagement: Because of her intelligence, she needs daily physical exercise and mental engagement to keep her happy and out of mischief.

If you have the space, time, and heart for a devoted, clever, and endlessly cheerful adventurer willing to continue her behavior modification training, Phoebe is waiting to become the best dog you've ever known!

Go meet their pets

We hold adoption events EVERY SATURDAY. PLEASE VISIT OUR WEBSITE FOR THE LOCATION AND DATES OF OUR NEXT ADOPTION EVENT. www.rmpuppyrescue.org

Thank you for your interest in saving the lives of these beautiful pets through our foster and adoption program.

To all the people that have called and emailed in hopes of meeting a puppy before our event, we hope you can understand, we cannot meet between events. We truly appreciate you wanting to help by adoption but ask that you make our events. We are a foster based rescue, and all of us have full-time jobs. We simply can't arrange one on one meetings with all of our foster families, our puppies and all the people that want to meet them.

Please do not call the locations of our adoption events as they do not have any information on our available dogs and puppies. We match the family energy level and lifestyle to the puppy's energy level. We do have the right of refusal. Please check out our website at www.rmpuppyrescue.org to download our Pre-adoption form and Requirements form, print, fill out and bring in hand to the event. You can also submit your application online at our website.

Here are some other things we require:

- If you rent, YOU MUST BRING A COPY OF YOUR RENTERS/MORTGAGE AGREEMENT TO THE EVENT. We do this to confirm you own your house or if you rent you are allowed to have a pet in your home. NO EXCEPTIONS.We would like to see if there is a weight or breed restriction. No rescues will be adopted to those persons who do not bring a lease or agreement to the event.

- You must show a valid drivers license, and You must be 19 years or older.

-You MAY NOT bring your dog to our event. This is due to the fact that our puppies have immature immune systems.

-Any animals you own MUST be Spayed or Neutered. NO exceptions.

- RMPR adoption fees are $225-600 this includes your microchip, starter puppy food and of course lots of puppy love!

RMPR Does not take checks. We accept, cash, Visa, MC, and Discover. NO AMEX (sorry)

RMPR and its directors have the right to refuse the adoption for any reason. Please see our website www.rmpuppyrescue.org for more details on how to adopt.

We appreciate your interest in our lovely rescues. If you would like to join our Puppy Brigade through volunteering or fostering one of our rescues, we would love to have you. Please visit our website for more details.
