My name is Fiona!

Meet Fiona! Fiona is almost 4-year-old, 30-pound “pocket pittie”. When she first came into rescue, Fiona was paralyzed in her hind limbs and unable to walk. After multiple neurology visits, a course of steroids, and pain management, she has made an incredible recovery and regained full mobility. Her neurologist suspects the cause was IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease).

While there is potential for a recurrence in the future, Fiona is currently a healthy, active, and completely mobile dog. She enjoys her walks, handles a leash nicely, and is eager to please. Fiona is housebroken with only occasional minor accidents and is crate-trained, though she may bark initially before settling down.

Fiona has a gentle, affectionate temperament and thrives on human attention. She would do best in a home without young children, as she prefers a calm environment. Fiona could live with another submissive dog after proper introductions.

All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
