Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Regina came to us as a stray and unfortunately was never reclaimed by an owner. She is a tortie cat through and through and if you have ever owned one, you know what we are talking about. We are not yet sure how she will do with other cats or animals, etc. but after adjusting here has been a very nice cat. She also uses the litterbox reliably. Her adoption fee is $100 and she is now spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and FELV/FIV tested negative. If you would like to meet or adopt, please stop by the shelter during business hours. If you have other questions, call or email 630-553-9256 or animalcontrol@kendallcountyil.gov.

Kendall County Animal Control is the county agency responsible for enforcement of the state statutes governing rabies control in domestic companion animals. The State of Illinois requires that all dogs are vaccinated against rabies by a licensed veterinarian. Compliance with this law is monitored through the issuance of rabies tags for all dogs residing in the county. All dogs are required to wear their rabies tags when off of the owner's property. If a pet is lost, rabies tags also provide an excellent means of identifying your pet.
Kendall County Animal Control also enforces the county's ordinance that prohibits dogs from running at large in unincorporated residential subdivisions, investigates reports of animal bites, and will pick up contained stray dogs in unincorporated Kendall County during operating hours. Stray and owner released cats and dogs may also be brought to the facility during business hours. Cats and dogs are available for adoption at the facility.
