My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ramona is at our Adirondack Region Cat Adoption Center in Glens Falls, NY.

Meet Ramona, a gentle soul ready to bloom. Ramona is a stunning torbie with a heart as soft as her purrs. Life hasn’t always been kind to her—she was abandoned in a trailer on a remote property and had to learn to navigate the world with caution. But despite her past, Ramona is ready to trust again. This sweet girl is gentle, low-key, and quietly affectionate. Once she feels safe, she’ll reward your patience with soft purrs, loving glances, and a calm companionship that warms the heart. Her ideal home is a peaceful, low-stress environment where she can take her time adjusting and feel truly secure. Ramona may also benefit from having a calm feline friend to help her feel more at ease. With love, patience, and a little time, Ramona will blossom into the devoted companion she was always meant to be. Give this beautiful soul the second chance she deserves—Ramona is ready to find her forever home.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

When you come down to NSALA an associate will help you figure out what kind of animal will do best in your situation. At that point they will take out the animals you are interested in so that you may get to know them. You will have plenty of time to play and interact with your new friend in our family friendly areas designated for that purpose. When you decide you want to adopt, an associate will help you fill out an application.

Our adoption fees are as follows:
Puppies (up to 6 months) $350
Adult Dogs (over 6 months) $100
Puppy Mill Rescues $250
Small Breed & Pure Breeds (over 6 months) $250
Kittens (up to 6 months) $100
Double Kittens $150
Adult Cats (over 6 months) $50
