Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Whisper is a sweet, beautiful girl with a gentle spirit. She is a little shy and likes to keep to herself, but all she needs is someone who will be patient and gentle to earn her trust. Once she feels safe, Whisper shows just how loving and affectionate she can be. She does have some intestinal issues, but she qualifies for Abandoned Pet Rescues Medical Adoption Program, meaning all of her veterinary care will be covered for the rest of her life. Whisper would thrive in a quiet, caring home where she can feel secure and cherished, and she is ready to find someone who will give her the love and patience she deserves. To meet Whisper please fill out an adoption application at abandonedpetrescue.org.
Whisper is vaccinated, spayed, microchipped and ready for adoption at Abandoned Pet Rescue - a no-kill shelter in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. To meet this adoptable pet, please fill out an adoption application at www.abandonedpetrescue.org and a team member will contact you to schedule an appointment.

More about this shelter
Abandoned Pet Rescue (APR) is one of the largest no-kill animal shelters in South Florida with the mission of rescuing and sheltering abandoned and abused cats and dogs with the goal of finding them new homes. APR's adoption center has about 150 cats and 30 dogs, all of which receive nutritious meals, veterinary care, enrichment and love.
APR, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, was founded in 1996 by a group of volunteers who were trapping, spaying and neutering feral cats and quickly realized the greater need to help abandoned pets and advocate for a no-kill community. APR is funded solely by generous donors and grants.
