Lucy takes her time getting comfortable in new situations, and that's okay-she just needs a patient, understanding person who will let her go at her own pace. In playgroup, she wasn't quite ready to jump in and play, choosing instead to observe and take things slow. With gentle introductions and a calm environment, she'll have the chance to feel safe enough to open up.
