It’s quick and easy, we love to talk with people and get to know them and fit them with the perfect pet.
Our shelter is open Monday through Friday, 10am-4pm. Closed weekends and holidays. To adopt call 231-533-6421. Cat adoption fee $65, dog adoption fee $100. All animals come spayed/neutered, current on age appropriate vaccines, dewormed, and microchipped

Adoption steps
- Interview
- We like to interview the adopter, most times this is done over the phone and we will schedule a meet and greet at that time.
- Meet the Pet
- We will try to match you with a pet, and let you meet them.
- Approve Application
- If you fit with a pet and we think it’s a great fit we will fill out the adoption paperwork.
- Pay Fee
- Pay adoption fee when paperwork is complete.
- Take the Pet Home
- You can take your new pet home the same day.

Please call 231-533-6421 to schedule meet and greets with our adoptable pets. We have a small staff of 2 and there are times when we are very busy, on the road handling complaints or in meetings. We are open Monday through Friday, 10am-4pm.
