My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lira! A Tiny Diva with a Big Heart 🖤

Born in foster care in February 2025 to Mama Ember and Papa Ash, Lira has only ever known the good life. She fully expects it to stay that way! This sweet little lionhead mix may be small in size, but she’s full of personality.

Lira is equal parts sugar and spice. While she may not flaunt the fluffy mane of her lionhead lineage, her sassy attitude gives her royal roots away. She has high standards for her space and her snuggles. She will let you know if something’s not up to par!

But don’t be fooled by her sass, Lira adores attention. Once she’s settled in, she melts for cheek rubs and one-on-one time. She would thrive in a free roam setup and isn’t shy about voicing her displeasure with confinement. She’s been known to pull off some impressive escape acts!

Lira has done well with kids of all ages but especially enjoys the calm and gentle touch of older children and adults. She’s also comfortable around cats and dogs. Right now, though, she’s looking to be the only bunny in the home, she wants all the love for herself!

Think you’ve got the perfect home for this sassy sweetheart? Head over to Rabbit Advocates to learn more about the adoption process and submit an application.

Additional adoption info

Rabbit Advocates is committed to rescuing homeless and abandoned domestic rabbits, and helping them find excellent forever homes. Because these rabbits live with foster providers as members of the family, foster providers can offer helpful information about the rabbit’s personality, favorite foods, housing needs, bunny-proofing tips, and any other questions applicants may have. All Rabbit Advocates bunnies are spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
