Their adoption process
All of our adoptions typically follow the outline above. However, some adoption procedures may vary on a case to case basis.
Adoption steps
- Submit Application
- If you see an animal you are interested in, please submit an application
- Approve Application
- Once your application is approved, you will be contacted to meet the pet
- Meet the Pet
- If you and the pet hit it off, we will then go over adoption fees and sending the pet home with you
- Sign Adoption Contract
- Home Check
- Not required for all pets. We will sometime require pictures of habitats for small animals.
- Pay Fee
- Take the Pet Home

We are a 501(c)(3) rescue and all donations are tax deductible
NBARR was originally established in the year 2000. We have strived to care for those who can not care for themselves, from hamsters all the way up to horses. We take in all domesticated animals, healthy or injured as long as we have a foster home available to care for them.
NBARR also works with many shelters and other rescues to help rehabilitate less adoptable animals that may stress in a shelter environment.
The entire rescue has been primarily funded by it's owner, Ashley Costello.
