Meet Calliope — A True Survivor and Loving Soul!
Calliope's journey has been nothing short of incredible. When she first came to us, she had almost no hair, was suffering from severe flea dermatitis and mange, and was nursing two babies with painfully red skin. Her engorged nipples told the story of her dedication to her pups despite everything.
Now, just look at her! Calliope is a happy, smiling, joyful girl who absolutely loves people—especially her humans—and gets along wonderfully with other dogs and kids. She’s a gentle, affectionate sweetheart who greets everyone with a warm, loving hug.
Calli is about 1 year and 8 months old, weighs 55 lbs, and is fully vetted, healed, and ready for her forever home. Her ideal family has a big, secure fenced yard because Calliope can and will jump a four-foot fence—she’s adventurous like that! On leash, she’s mostly well behaved, with just a little pulling, but overall, she’s perfect.
