Gemma is being fostered at one of Toronto Cat Rescue’s partner vet clinics. Please note that if you’re approved to adopt, you’ll need to pick them up from the store within 24 hours of being approved.

Gemma is a beautiful young kitty with a heart full of potential. She is just waiting for the right person and feline friend to help her shine. At the store, Gemma is very shy and tends to freeze with fear, but she is not aggressive at all. Once she feels safe, she allows gentle pets and has a soft, sweet spirit that is impossible not to love.

Gemma absolutely adores other cats and finds comfort in their company. She would do best in a calm, quiet home with a confident resident cat who can show her that people are not so scary after all. With time, patience, and a loving environment, Gemma will blossom into the affectionate companion she is meant to be.

Because she startles easily, Gemma is not suited for a home with young children or dogs, but if you have a gentle household and an understanding heart, she could be the perfect addition to your feline family
