My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rumor’s out — she’s adorable!
This little grey-and-tan tabby is the definition of sweet and loving. She’s the kind of kitten who purrs the moment you look at her, and she’s always ready to snuggle her way right into your heart. Rumor has a soft, gentle personality with a playful streak that shows up the second she spots a toy or hears the rustle of a treat bag.
She’ll follow you from room to room like a tiny shadow, happy just to be near her favorite person. Whether she’s curling up beside you for a nap or batting a toy mouse across the floor, Rumor makes every day feel a little warmer and brighter.
She’s ready to find her forever home — one filled with love, cozy naps, and people who can’t help but spoil her (and honestly, how could you not?).

More about this rescue

Meowsquad is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization started in 2019. Our goal is to reduce the large stray and feral cat population of New York City by using Trap Neuter Return (TNR) techniques as well as working with the community to find forever homes for cats and kittens that can be resocialized. We also aim to relocate those who cannot be returned into safe, working environments.
