Orion is a 2 1/2 YO male German Shorthaired Pointer who weighs 64 pounds. He lived with 3 other GSPs, has been around many other dogs of many sizes, cats, and kids. So easy to say, he's good with everyone! He was surrendered with his brother, Zeus, due to the family's living conditions changing, and their landlord requiring that they get rid of them, but this was no fault of their own.
Orion is housetrained and crate trained. True to his breed, he has a lot of energy and will need a home where he can receive plenty of off-leash exercise. He has lived with many other dogs in the past, and exhibited a bit of stress while kenneled so he will NEED at least one other dog in his new home. Orion is very social and just loves attention.
He has not learned commands, but is very polite and does not jump up on people. He will need some leash training though, but is already making great strides in this area.
Orion is heartworm negative, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and neutered, and is on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. He is fostered in Sarasota and his adoption fee is $400.
