My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi I'm Lewis and I am the shelters longest term kitten. I've been here for so long I could be considered an adult soon! I came into CHA with my mom and sister who went home a while ago! Part of the reason I have been here for so long is due to some litter box issues that I have had. Well here's some good news! For the past few months I have only used my litterbox and never my bedding when having to go potty! The workers even tested me overnight in an open room and I was a good boy and have learned to use the litterbox more consistently! I am a very spunky boy, I just wish I had enough room and a family to play with so I can get some pent up energy out and take some long naps! I love looking out the Lobby windows and seeing the pretty sky. Would someone give me a chance at a home? I would do best in a home with kids over the age of 12, if you want you can even dress me up in outfits! I am a bit scared of dogs and sometimes play a little too rough with other kitties so i would do best as the only animal in the house, at least until I get situated! All cats and dogs adopted from the Chequamegon Humane Association are spayed or neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, and microchipped. Dogs are tested for heartworm. A minimum adoption fee of $185 is required for adult dogs, puppy adoption fees start $300, and dogs over the age of 10 are $100. Adult cat adoption fees are $85, kittens under one year are $135, and cats over the age of 10 are $50.
