Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Talk about a comeback kid! Wendell arrived at our shelter as a mystery—a small mixed breed stray with a big personality and an even bigger challenge ahead. When staff noticed he couldn`t move his back legs, we knew this little fighter needed help. After spine surgery and months of dedicated rehab (where he charmed every physical therapist within a 10-mile radius), Wendell is finally ready for his happily ever after! This pint-sized survivor is living proof that great things come in small packages. He`s dog-friendly, cat-friendly, and gets along wonderfully with kids 12 and up who understand that some days he needs extra TLC and gentle handling. Fair warning: Wendell has some house training quirks thanks to his medical journey, but with the right management, you`ll both figure it out together. What makes Wendell special? His sweet, silly spirit that never quit—even when his legs did. He`s proof that resilience looks adorable in fur form. If you`re looking for a companion who`ll remind you daily that life`s obstacles are just plot twists in a great story, Wendell`s your guy.
