My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! We’re Spirit and October, a bonded brother-and-sister duo looking for a forever home together. We’ve been side by side our whole lives, and we truly do best when we’re together—playing, cuddling, and giving each other confidence.

I’m Spirit, the sweet and gentle one who loves being petted and cuddling up with my cat siblings. I adore chasing toys and especially love running around and playing with my brother. I can be a little shy about being picked up and might dash if I’m startled, but once I feel safe, I’m happy to relax nearby and enjoy affection.

And I’m October, the purr machine. When you pet me, I’ll let you know how much I love it with my loud, happy purrs. I enjoy chasing toys all over the house and cuddling with other cats—especially my sister. I don’t love being picked up either, but when I’m settled and comfortable, I’m very open to gentle pets and quiet time together.

As Priority Pets, Pawmetto Lifeline is offering FREE basic medical care for LIFE for both pets!

That includes:

More about this shelter

Pawmetto Lifeline, formerly Project Pet, was founded in 1999. Since the opening of our adoption, medical, and boarding facility in Spring 2012, we have been able to save more than 15,000 companion pets from euthanasia and gave them a new lease on life. We continue to strive toward the goal of a no-kill community and state through adoption, pet retention, rescue partnerships, and medical services.
