Here's what the humans have to say about me:
MILLIE
4 months
Attributes
Good w/dogs
Working on housetraining
Good in apartments
Millie is a happy, healthy four-month-old Beagle/Basset mix who’s ready to melt hearts with her gentle nature and sweet personality. She’s affectionately known as the “simple sister” — a little less rowdy than her sister Maisie, but every bit as loving!
This adorable pup loves her food (mealtime is her favorite time of day!) and is well on her way to becoming a true lap dog. With her calm demeanor, Millie adores snuggling up for hugs and pets and enjoys quiet companionship just as much as playtime. At about 15 inches tall, she’s growing into a graceful little lady.
Millie is nearly fully house-trained, crate-trained, and highly motivated by treats — making her a quick learner. She’d do well as an only dog or would happily join a home with an older canine sibling to show her the ropes. Best of all, she’s a quiet girl who rarely barks, so apartment living could suit her just fine.
Millie is the perfect mix of sweetness and simplicity — a loyal companion who’s ready to fill her forever home with warmth, love, and puppy cuddles.
NOTE: Dog may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI).
Please read our Standards for Adoption and the information about beagles and puppies before you submit an adoption application. Remember that owning a puppy is a full-time commitment and you must have the time to commit to a dog that will be with you for 12-17 years. Beagle puppies are cute - but they are very challenging. Puppies may eat your apartment (no refund of security deposit); people who are gone for more than 5 hours at a time will need to make dog walker, neighbor or doggie daycare arrangements. We discourage the adoption of puppies to families with children under the age of six, since puppies will chew toys, shoes, blankets, hands, feet and other important parts of your child's anatomy.
