My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you’re looking for a kitten to keep you on your toes, keep you entertained, and demand all of the attention in the room, then Thumper is the right match for you. Born in a litter of kittens who all, except for him, presented with Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH), he has grown up with four rambunctious, wobbly siblings, who all do well to tolerate his energy. Despite not presenting with CH, Thumper does sometimes have balance problems, such as falling backwards when spooked or flopping over. This doesn’t stop him from racing around the room, playing with anything that might look like a toy, including his sister’s tail, and later cooling down for some snuggle time with his caretakers.

Thumper is surprisingly gentle with his siblings while playing, but he is looking for another young kitten or cat to wrestle with who can handle his full energy. Used to snuggling with his siblings and playing, he would do best in a home with another cat, about a year or younger, who is looking for a playmate.

COMPLETED APPLICATIONS TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER INQUIRIES. If you are interested in adopting, the FIRST step is to complete an application.

Please note that our animals are rescued and transported from South Mississippi where major animal overpopulation means less homes. We only transport them if adopted, in most instances, we can be available for a video call once an application has been approved.

We are USDA certified, and WE PERSONALLY TRANSPORT OUR OWN adopted animals to meet their new families. We transport every 2-3 weeks.

Our adoption fee includes the spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, FIV/FeLV tested, Microchip, Mississippi Health Certificate, and the transport service to get the new family pet to you
