My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Nicky, a stunning medium-haired black beauty with a silky coat and the fluffiest tail you’ve ever seen. She may be a little shy at first, but give her a bit of time to settle into her new environment and you’ll soon notice a soft, fluffy-tailed shadow quietly following you from room to room.

Nicky has a playful side that shines once she feels comfortable. She absolutely adores tiny plastic springs and stuffed mice, happily batting them around with kitten-like enthusiasm. A few tasty treats will certainly help you win her trust — and once you do, you’ll discover her true gift: devoted companionship.

When Nicky chooses you, she chooses you completely. She’ll curl up in your lap, purring contentedly, and become your loyal, loving sidekick. If you’re patient and kind, this gorgeous girl will reward you with a lifetime of quiet affection and unwavering loyalty.

Nicky would thrive in a calm, understanding home that allows her to build trust at her own pace. She is not a fan of dogs, but she can peacefully co-exist as long as they respect her space and keep their distance. She appreciates having her own safe spots where she can observe the world on her terms.

Having grown up in a home with teenagers, Nicky took several months to feel comfortable enough to let them come near her. Once she did, she formed quiet, steady bonds — proving that patience truly pays off with her. Because of her sensitive and cautious nature, she would not do best in a home with young children. Sudden movements and loud energy can make her uneasy.

We provide all initial wellness care, including vaccines, deworming, checking for mites etc., for each kitten and cat under our care. All cats and kittens available for adoption have been spayed or neutered, microchipped, combo tested and given a rabies vaccine. Our adoption fees also cover lifetime microchip registration.
