Our Adoption Process

At Itty Bitty Kitty Committee Rescue Inc., we strive to make the adoption process simple and transparent, ensuring our cats and kittens find loving forever homes. Here’s how our adoption process works:

Step 1: Browse Our Adoptable Cats
• Visit our website or social media pages to view all the cats and kittens currently available for adoption.
• Each cat has a profile with their age, personality traits, and vetting status to help you find the perfect match.

Step 2: Submit an Adoption Application
• Fill out our adoption application, which helps us learn more about you, your home, and your experience with pets.
• Applications are reviewed to ensure a good fit between the adopter and the cat.

Step 3: Application Review and Follow-Up
• Once your application is received, our team will review it and may contact you for additional details or clarification.
• We may also check vet references and landlord approval (if applicable).

Step 4: Meet the Cat
• After your application is approved, you’ll be invited to meet the cat you’re interested in.
• This can be at one of our adoption events or through a private meet-and-greet with the foster family.
• This is an important step to ensure the cat’s personality is a good fit for your home.

Step 5: Finalize the Adoption
• Once you’ve decided to adopt, we’ll finalize the paperwork and provide all medical records for your new pet.
• You’ll also receive helpful information about your new cat’s care and transition.

Step 6: Welcome Your New Family Member
• Bring your new furry friend home! Our team will be available to answer any questions and provide guidance during the transition period.
• We love receiving updates and photos of our adopted cats thriving in their new homes.

Itty Bitty Kitty Committee Rescue Inc. is a nonprofit organization based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, dedicated to rescuing cats and kittens from euthanasia and giving them a second chance at life. Since our founding in July 2024, we’ve been passionate about saving at-risk cats and finding them loving forever homes.

Our primary focus is rescuing cats and kittens from high-risk situations, including overcrowded shelters and euthanasia lists. Every cat in our care receives the medical attention, love, and socialization they need to thrive. All of our cats are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped before being made available for adoption.
