Meet Tabitha — A Gentle Soul with a Loving Heart

Tabitha is a beautiful 14-year-old lady with a soft spirit and an even softer purr. Though she may be a little shy when meeting new people, it doesn’t take long for her to warm up — especially once she realizes there are cuddles involved! Her favorite spot is right next to her foster mom, where she can relax and soak up all the love she deserves.

Recently, Tabitha had surgery to remove urinary stones and is recovering wonderfully. To keep her healthy and comfortable, she’ll need to stay on a prescription diet — something she’s adjusted to just fine.

Tabitha is the perfect companion for someone looking for a calm, affectionate friend who appreciates the quiet moments in life. She’s ready to spend her golden years sharing purrs, snuggles, and unconditional love.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process includes adoption application which can be completed at our website wagsmn.org. Current fees can also be accessed on our website. After reviewing your application, a meeting is scheduled between you and the pet in the foster’s home or a neutral dog friendly place. If there are any resident dogs in your home, it is required that the dogs meet at this time. After the meeting, a home visit is scheduled and, if everything goes well with the visit, the adoption is finalized. A home visit by one of our representatives is required prior to finalizing any adoption, and we must meet all members of the household where the pet will be living sometime during the adoption process. We reserve the right to refuse any applicant for any reason Adoption fee includes: vet exam(s), spay/neuter, de-worming, heartworm test (if 6 months of age or older), vaccinations, microchip, and FIV/FeLv testing (for cats only). Please come see us at Petsmart on the 2nd Saturday of each month in Eagan (Petsmart 1297 Promenade Pl, Eagan, MN 55121); 4th Saturday of each month in Richfield (Petsmart 1100 W 78th St, Richfield, MN 55423); and the 3rd Sunday of each month in Maple Grove (Petsmart 11200 Fountains Way Maple Grove, MN 55369). We will have many adoptable dogs, puppies, and maybe a kitten or two that are able to attend for public viewing... please stop in and play! If you are interested in a specific dog or cat from viewing our available animals at wagsmn.org, please email us in advance of an adoption event (wagswhiskersmn@gmail.com), and we will do our best to have them at the event.
