My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

BK is a 9 month old pit and lab mix puppy. I adopted her from St. Huberts when she was 4 months old. BK is a very active and social pup. She loves greeting humans and dogs on her walks, beach visits, and at local pet friendly businesses in Asbury Park.

Her owner recently experienced a career change which is both placing financial and time constraints on her ability to provide adequate training and activity time. BK would do be best in a home that has a fenced yard that is accessible to burn off her young puppy energy. BK is well socialized and does well when she is at day care playing with other dogs, so may do well in a home with other dogs. She knows sit, down, wait, leave it, drop it, and cues to go her crate and bed, but is still working on her potty training skills (impeded by her owner being away at work). In this adoption process, her owner is hoping she can find a loving home more suited for active lifestyle.
