Oh, hi! I’m Missy, your friendly neighborhood void kitty. That means I’m very good at blending into shadows—my foster mom says I “take up negative space”—but don’t worry, you’ll never lose me. I’m quite talkative, especially when food is involved, so you’ll definitely hear me before you see me.
I love to run, chase, and play with just about anything. Crinkly toys, jingly toys, rolling toys, and yes, even socks are all fair game. I also enjoy getting other cats involved in a good game of chase, which usually results in me zooming around with my tail curled in excitement. If you’re someone who feeds me or pets me, expect a full performance.
Speaking of pets, I adore them. When I’m being loved on, I get what my foster family calls “happy feet”—I’ll pace, make biscuits, and dance in place because I’m just that pleased. Snuggling is one of my favorite activities, whether it’s with humans or fellow feline friends.
I’ve learned a lot since I was found outside as a tiny kitten. Brushes, scratchers, perches—turns out they’re all wonderful. I especially enjoy lounging on perches in the shade, watching the world go by. I’m still small, but I’m practicing my jumping skills and dreaming of all the high places I’ll conquer one day.
So, what do you think? Is there a perch waiting for me in your home? Maybe a chair, a table, or a sunny window? I’d love to sit nearby and chat with you about your day.
— Missy
My adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?
