Annie’s story is one that tugs at the heart. This stunning gray tabby girl was recently returned to our shelter after years of trying to make it work in a home that was simply too overwhelming for her sensitive spirit.
Now, she’s back...quiet, confused, and hoping someone will see the beauty in her gentle heart.
At first, Annie may seem shy and reserved. She’s been through a lot, and trust takes time. But give her a little patience, and you’ll discover a cat who blossoms into pure affection.
She leans into love with soft purrs and sweet nuzzles, craving the kind of connection that makes her feel safe and cherished.
Annie is looking for a calm, low traffic home where she can truly relax. No other pets, no chaos, just a peaceful space and a person who will shower her with the attention she’s been longing for.
She doesn’t ask for much, just a quiet corner and someone who sees her for the precious soul she is.
It’s been a hard road for Annie, but we believe with all our hearts that her perfect person is out there. Someone who understands that love isn’t always loud, it’s gentle, patient, and deeply rewarding.

Our adoption fee includes the pets spay or neuter, microchip, up to date vaccines, FelV/FIV/Heartworm test and fecal check. All adoption fees can be found on our website serenityanimalhospital.net
The first step to our adoption process is to fill out an adoption application on our website, www.serenityanimalhospital.net, under the "Adopt From Us" Tab. Once you hit submit, it will come straight to our adoptions email. Once your application has been processed, our adoptions team will reach out with you to schedule a meet and greet.
** Please note: any cats/kittens adopted from us must be kept as INDOOR ONLY cats and cannot be declawed per our adoption contract. **

We are an animal hospital in Sterling Heights Michigan that is also a licensed shelter.
We take on dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens in need. We vet all of our adoptable animals and take the utmost care of them until we can find them their perfect loving forever homes.
All of our adoptable pets are spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, receive fecal testing and treatment, and are microchipped before adoption.
Our dogs are heartworm tested and kept on prevention here with us. We do require that they stay on year round heartworm prevention after going home.
Our cats are all triple tested for FIV, FelV, and Heartworm disease before adoption.
